| Overview: | The delegate will be taught to create assets, schedule PAT tests, download data from a tester, correct errors and report on results. |
| Audience: | Suitable for anyone who needs a complete understanding of the capabilities of Safety 1st, or for those who intend to implement and control the system - whether you test your own equipment or provide a testing service for others. |
| Prerequisites: | Familiarity with the concepts of Windows systems. Basic keyboard skills and the ability to use a mouse. |
Detailed Content:
Introduction and product overview
A brief overview of the system’s functions and processes supported, coupled with some basic windows navigation hints and tips.
Search & Selection
Locating assets and using the asset record to examine specific history.
Adding New Records
The creation of new clients, sites and predominately the manual creation of assets. This section also covers copying and cloning of assets.
Code Tables
The set-up and maintenance of code tables. This section is primarily for those who will initially set up the system.
Downloading from the PAT Tester
The process of transferring data from a PAT tester into the computer.
Event & Error Correction
An examination of the downloaded data and how it is stored. The correction of data that may have been incorrectly loaded into the tester.
System Setup
For key users: The configuration of screen layouts, setting PAT download defaults, creating new users, security access, password control, general management & backup.
Reporting
Running standard reports, selecting, sorting, printing and exporting data to other systems. Designing your own reports using basic report templates.
