The best way to learn about Shire’s Computerised Maintenance Management Software, or CMMS in general, is to come to one of our totally free and hugely popular Roadshows.

In the past five years we’ve travelled all over the UK and Ireland hosting these events. We’ve presented over 50 Roadshows and met more than 1000 maintenance professionals from hundreds of companies in all sectors of industry and commerce. Each Roadshow focuses on the practical issues involved in selecting and implementing CMMS software and each provides the opportunity to discuss your own needs and experiences with the presenters and other guests. Roadshows are delivered by our highly knowledgeable applications specialists.

We invite you and your colleagues to join us, together with other like-minded professionals, when we visit a venue near you. You may already use a Shire CMMS and need a refresher on some parts of the software, or new members of your team may need bringing up to speed. Morning Session - FrontLine CMMS and mobile maintenance
Here we give you a practical guide to implementing a CMMS software package – what to consider and how to avoid the all too common mistakes. We provide a detailed overview of the system and its functionality and look at different ways of using the software. You’ll receive many useful tips and we’ll show you the shortcuts that save so much time.

The session covers the core FrontLine modules of Maintenance Management, Stock (Parts Management) and electronic Work Requester. We’ll also demonstrate the ultimate mobile maintenance and stock control solution - FrontLine on the Move. We discuss the technology and hardware requirements, including barcoding, RFID tags (Radio Frequency Identification) and the various types of handheld computers, including those suitable for hazardous and hygienic areas. We’ll show you how the system interacts with the core FrontLine modules and the savings and other benefits it will deliver for you and your organisation.
